Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Shree Handlooms. We take great care in preparing and shipping your handcrafted treasures. Please read our shipping policy carefully.

1. Processing Time

  • What it is: This is the time it takes us to carefully inspect, gently wrap, and prepare your order for shipment.

  • Our Promise: All our handloom products are made-to-order or sourced directly from weaver clusters. We require 2-4 business days to process your order before it is handed over to our shipping partner.

  • Exceptions: During festive seasons, promotions, or sales, processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you on our website and via email if this is the case.

2. Shipping Destinations & Rates

We currently ship within India. We are working to expand our international shipping options.

  • Domestic Shipping (Within India):

    • Standard Shipping: Flat rate of ₹[e.g., 80] per order. Delivered in 5-8 business days after processing.

    • Express Shipping: Flat rate of ₹[e.g., 180] per order. Delivered in 2-4 business days after processing.

    • Free Standard Shipping on all orders above ₹[e.g., 2000].

  • International Shipping:

    • We currently offer international shipping to a select list of countries. Rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

3. How We Ship

  • We partner with reliable courier services (such as India Post, DTDC, etc.) to ensure your order reaches you safely.

  • Each handloom item is meticulously placed in a secure corrugated box or a sturdy cloth bag, ensuring protection during transit.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to track your order’s journey. You can also track your order by logging into your account on our website.

5. Delivery & Handling

  • Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

  • If no one is available at the address at the time of delivery, our courier partner will typically attempt delivery again or leave a notification. You are responsible for rearranging delivery or collection from their local depot.

  • We recommend using a work address or an address where someone can accept the package during business hours.

6. Shipping Delays

While we provide estimated delivery timelines, occasionally delays may occur due to:

  • Logistics partner delays.

  • Inclement weather or natural disasters.

  • Customs hold-ups (for international orders).

  • Regional holidays or festivals.

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

We will proactively communicate any significant delays we are aware of and assist you in tracking your package.

7. Damaged or Lost Packages

We take immense pride in our packaging, but transit can be unpredictable.

  • Damaged Package: If your order arrives damaged, please refuse the delivery if possible and contact us immediately at shreehandloombyshankar@gmail.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging. We will resolve this promptly by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.

  • Lost in Transit: If your tracking information shows no movement for more than 7 days past the estimated delivery date, please contact us. We will initiate an investigation with the courier and keep you updated. If the package is deemed lost, we will send a replacement or issue a refund.
